Skyline Apartment REIT, a Canadian real estate investment trust based in Guelph, Ontario, has reported strong performance in 2022 and is looking forward to further growth opportunities in 2023. The REIT made several new additions to its portfolio, adding $360.4 million in assets and bringing the total number of suites in its portfolio to 22,259. Skyline Apartment REIT comprises 250 properties in 61 communities in seven provinces across Canada. In 2022, Skyline Apartment REIT acquired several properties, completed construction on two new developments, and broke ground for a Permanent Supportive Housing development. With high demand for rental housing in Canada, the REIT plans to continue its investment in the development of new multi-residential builds and make additional strategic purchases of established apartment properties.
